Training for the future
It’s great that we celebrate hashtagnationalapprenticeshipweek2023, but it’s also important to celebrate the people who are training our future engineers.
On the right, we have some of our latest apprentices, at the very start of their careers, being given the opportunity to develop their skills at Chirton Engineering.
On the left, we have two of the most experienced machinists you’re ever likely to meet, Harry Smart & Micky Walker. They might be in the twilight of their careers, but with over 100 years of machining experience between them, there’s not much these two guys don’t know about precision machining.
The engineers that will lead us into tomorrow, being trained by the engineers that got us to where we are today.
Every business needs a Harry, a Mick, or a group of talented apprentices! We’re extremely lucky to have all three!
Who’s the ‘Harry’ or ‘Mick’ of your business……because we need to celebrate them!
