Carr’s Flour

Until 3 September 2016, Carr’s Group owned three flour mills which supplied bakeries, food manufacturers and multiplies across the UK, using the latest milling technologies and sourcing the best wheat, either from the UK or overseas. The mills, which comprised the Food division, were sold to Whitworths Holdings Ltd for a total consideration of £36m. The mills operate from three strategically located sites on the coast at Silloth in Cumbria, Kirkcaldy in Fife and Maldon in Essex.
